We are women, wives, mothers, grandmothers, sisters, aunts, cousins, friends we are ladies with a mission. Each of us was asking the question, why don’t someone do something for our children? We all got the same or similar answers, “why not me.” The became the us, and the we is for women the world over to unite and honor, Our pictures are not showed because we want you to see the message, not the messenger. We are women from all walks of life, housewives, accountants, psychologist, clerks, domestic engineers, secretaries, lawyers, sales persons, ministers, teachers, doctors, cashiers and the list goes on. Some of us jog at least three miles a day, Tai-bo with Billy Banks, acrobatics with Donna Richardson, go to the Fitness Centers two or four times a week or walk to the beat of our favorite tune We are not asking anyone for anything, we will spend our dollars where we choose, cast our votes where they work for us and take care of business at home. We are committed, heart soul and mine. The only thing we are asking for is: “that the words of our mouth and the meditations of our hearts be acceptable in sight of our Creator. We are taking the word, (can’t) to another level. We can’t be stopped; we can’t allow our sons to continue killing each other as if they are animals and its hunting season. Our children are introducing each other to sex in elementary and middle schools and they have no concepts of what they are really doing because its just the “In” thing to do. Also we cannot allow our children to be left on the shoulders of the information highway while our schools and society fail them. Our babies are trying to socialize gang behavior in Elementary schools, it can’t happen. |
